Sharon Hicks Continues as NKBA Florida Chapter President in her Second Term

Our very own Sharon Hicks stepped into her second year as NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association) Florida Chapter President on Thursday, January 17 at their Chapter meeting in Orlando, Florida.

Mrs. Hicks is excited to continue her role as President and to continue to participate in both local and statewide NKBA sponsored events, and volunteer on a national level.

Sharon Hicks is the President of Cabinets Extraordinaire. She is involved in all of the day-to-day activities of the company including showroom sales, product ordering and selections, vendor selections, design and selection activities. Sharon’s personal mission is to bring the best possible end result to everyone’s home. 

Sharon is very involved in the community including the following: Sustainer member Jr. League of Sarasota including involvement in the Simply Sarasota Kitchen Festival, Member of Friends of Myakka, member of JOY (Joining our Youth), Past President-Council Member Jr. League of Sarasota, Past Chairman Jr. League of Sarasota Holiday Tour of Homes, New College Library Association Board member and Chairman of Mistletoe Ball, Past VP Women’s Council of Realtors, Girls Inc. Board member and Chairman of She Know’s Where Going Luncheon, Recipient of Barnett Banks Murry Bowman Award for Outstanding Community Service. She and Cabinets Extraordinaire are also members of SEN Design Group.

NKBA Mission:

Our mission is to promote professionalism in the kitchen and bath industry and to educate the public on the role and value of working with a qualified professional. To that end, we provide a range of resources to help both homeowners and pros learn everything they need to know.
